Letters From Marme

With my grandsons living so far away, finding ways to be present in their lives can be a challenge.

So I have been mailing the boys Letters.

Letters in Letters.

It began with free form cutting out the shape of a letter from scraps of fabric I had and sewing it on to a piece of felt to back it.

My thought was to send them a 'letter' a week.

But then I started finding cute themed fabrics here and about and began sending them Words.

It's a fun little project for me.
and I do think my loves really like their
Letters from Marme.

I just found your blog. I love this idea. For me, living in a small country, it's difficult to imagine how life is when dear ones live so far away. have a nice weekend, groetjes, Gerda
