Good Fences

Courtesy of my recent jaunt to the UK.

Magnificent gates.

Solid walls that hold a rich history,

some draped in beautiful plantings.

The Mathematical Bridge,

and a wattling demonstration.

My favorite was this

outside a quaint tearoom where we had a lovely rest.

Yep, the gate sure is NICE! And I very much like the bridge. Hmmm. Pretty soon the bike will be covered with the vines, or perhaps the owners trim it so the bike can always be seen.

Lovely ornate fencing. My favorite is the bridge and I had to chuckle at the bicycle.

Awesome post. The gate and fencing is so ornate. Loved all the curly-que's on the fence. Wonderful colors and textures of the walls. Such pretty grounds. Yep, that last shot is really fun and cool.

The bike is my favorite too. How clever to work it into the fence!

I love all your fences but especially the one with the bike. I have 2 old bikes in my back yard, maybe I could turn them into a feature. I've just been reading your previous post, how wonderful to have your friend visit, lovely memories.
