Was for Tucker.
Given to this happy grandson of mine on his 1st Birthday last month.
| My mother picked out the buttons. Perfect, I think. 'Little Mathew' the teddy was my son's best buddy as a child. |
I finished Listening to A Shepherd's Life
a while back often while working on Tucker's Sweater. I enjoyed it so very much. How thrilled I was to be able to attend a book talk and signing by it's author just last week in D.C. James Rebanks' newest work is filled with lovely photos from the Lake District region he farms in the UK.

Perfect little sweater. Just perfect. Handspun from your sheeps?
ReplyDeleteHave you read any of The Yorkshire Shepherdess books yet? If not, add her to your list.
What a beautiful little sweater for your adorable grandson.
ReplyDeleteTucker looks so cute in his new jersey you made him and so proud of himself helping you :)

Fortunate Tucker to have that sweater - a true treasure!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful. I love Aran knits. All he needs is a kilt to go with it. I just put these teddy bear buttons on a sweater as well. They are so cute. You do beautiful work.
ReplyDeleteBoth are so good looking, but I must say that happy child wins my vote!
ReplyDeleteThe sweater is perfectly beautiful as are the Tucker and those buttons. LOVE it. Hug B
ReplyDeleteA beautiful sweater for a beautiful boy! It fits perfectly!
