Blankets for the Babes

A few long completed Finished Objects to share:

A chevron blanket made for this little one's shower. We didn't know that he was a he, but I new I could not go wrong with these colors as they are DIL Fifi's favorites.

Hi Tucker. Marme Loves you.

And while that easy on-the-go-knit-without-thinking blanket was in the works, I was working on this during the quiet-need-to-concentrate moments:

A Christening shawl for my son's son.

Tucker's special day has not yet happened, but he has been practicing.

Bridgewater by Jarod Flood
And now we wait for this blanket to have a wee one snuggled in it...

Any day now my Kate and her family will welcome baby Four.

  1. What lucky babes. Beautiful shawl and blanket :) My mother used to knit shawls for the babies but hasn't done so for many years now.
