Shepherdessing:101

I attended a workshop at the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival geared towards those considering starting a flock. We learned how to use all the tools of the trade..


and how to examine a woolly ewe for health issues..



and how to trim hoofs...



and that buttercups are poisonous to sheep. This pasture on my farm is not going to work!



But OH...the view looking back the other way!



Now all I need is some of these..

you could always have some angora goats, they will eat anything, not so pretty though. View beautiful
