No trip to the Delmarva Peninsula would be complete without a visit (or two) the Assateague National Seashore

So Beautiful.
Such different flora and fauna than what I am accustomed to. I could have spent five more days there to take advantage of all the island had to offer. Hiking, kayaking, birding. beach walking. Celebrating what the shoreline is supposed to look like minus the T-shirt and boogie board shops.

It is a special place indeed, but there was one touristy experience I was determined to have:

As we were leaving the park I spotted them...
Look closely. Right in the middle. Do you see them?

No? Good thing I ran (I. am. not. a. runner!) down a mosquito infested woodland trail to get up close and personal to the Chincoteague Wild Ponies just for you.

Motorradtour-Extraklasse! Wir fahren weiterhin mit unserem Camper (da regnet es nicht rein)-und wenn es kalt wird "Sasse"!

These pictures are so pretty. We went here for years and years, but now the kids are all gone and we do not go anymore. Loved seeing the horses. It is such a pretty part of the country. genie
