Good Morning.
It's a bright, beautiful, crisp Autumn day here in the valley.

I will spend it gathering up the last of the summer garden goodies before the expected frost tonight.

And then playing with this.

A much needed new cooktop with a large double center burner perfect for canning.

First up, pepper jelly.

Then onto apples, tomatoes, and pumpkin.

Hope you have a happy day!

Your top photo is so much like my home province, it makes me a bit homesick :) It's a long time since I've been 'home', all of my immediate family have moved away bu there are cousins there to visit. Maybe sometime soon...

How good to have found your blog. We clearly have quite a bit in common including a husband who rides a motorbike! do pin the photo of the shepherd's hut. It is absolutely fabulous. I use it all the time and it works wonderfully as both a study and an occasional extra bedroom. It was made for us by a father and son firm called hutsnstuff, based in Powys on the border between England and Wales!

I wish my stove had gas. You will have a blast canning on that. I can't believe how much I enjoy canning. I hope to can cranberry chutney soon!
