Works In Progress

Way too many.

The gorgeous gold speckled blue/green yarn is cast on.

It is going to be a summer top with crocheted lace edging.
{slight problem: I don't crochet. Hmm...I may have to seek pointers from the gals over at Fiber Arts Friday}

Purple top is going slow, but has an end in sight.

not too happy with the texture. A bit too fuzzy...hoping it will be a bit nicer after blocking.

The big bolt of linen is getting quite the practice workout.

But no finished projects yet.

Cookies baked and ready to be decorated for the upcoming Hallmark Holiday

and
I took on the grouting of the tiles myself.

It really came out nice and was not at all difficult. Two points for me.

Hopefully I will have some finished works soon.
(maybe)

What are the linen stripes for? Brave woman working on a sweater that requires the crochet border. Guess you'll be learning to crochet soon, lol

Great pictures from a busy woman. Did you get a new sewing machine? Is that why you are practicing the different stitches it creates? Have fun.

Whoa, you are a crafter of many talents! Love them all. I leave the tiling to Hubster. He's much better at it. LOL

What a multi-talented person you are! Love that gold speckled yarn, it's gorgeous... and I admire your courage of starting a project that involves crochet when you don't, urm, crochet ;)

congrats on the grouting!

I find that for crochet, youtube works just fine to see how to do basic stitches if you get in a pinch...but you might want to practice on something else to get your tension worked out.

can't wait to see your finished Blue Heron beauty!
