Weekends Were Made For...

Pokeberry and bird feather painting,

Carrot digging and canning,

brotherly secrets and creature hunting,

apple picking,

and pick-up truck riding..

...which all lead
to the start of a little tree house building,

with a view.

I sure do hope you had as good a weekend as I did.

Love the treehouse! I used to spend so much time up in the trees as a kid. We never had a tree house but my best friend did. Best place to be on hot summer days.

What fun shots. They all have put a big grin on my old face this yucky Saturday morning. Tree house building...I am jealous. Gene build a tree deck overlapping the creek, but that is as far as he got. Oh, how many years did we travel the mountain roads around this old place sitting in the back of Bud's truck. It is part of growing up in the country. Wonderful collection of photos. genie

Joan,
You are living every grandparent's dream. Those kids will never forget visiting grandma at the farm.
