Color Fixation

I seem to have a slight focus on a certain shade lately.
Not traditionally one of my favorite hues.

that's a really big skein of yarn
which is turning into this big needle project.

To go along with the small needle project.

Then there is
putting the garden to rest for the winter on the big machine,

while dreaming of what is to come in the spring.

My current favorite 'read'. But all I have done so far is admire the photos. (Don't tell my oldest son)
But really, it all is inspired by this ever changing view from my front porch:

I know. Amazing. Please do not wake me up.

As long as I don't start painting walls or pay a visit to the hair colorist, I think we will be Ok.

and

Baby Wells is on board with the color theme too.

it is the color of the season and that view is absolutely beautiful. One of my very favorite parts of blogging is getting to share the wonderful views with other bloggers

It does seem to be the color of the season, and looks good in your knitting project. Probably not for your hair, though, so you'll be all right on that score.:-)

Orange is a friend of mine's favorite color. Until I met her, I never paid it much mind. Surprisingly, I've decided that I like it. Things evolve (including me)

Your front porch view made me gasp. So beautiful!

The perfect fall color, and you've photographed it so well! I'm really having a hard time not being envious of your front porch view!

I thought it was just me that was obsessed with that color! It doesn't even look good on me, so I don't know why I want to knit it so bad.

Nice knitting...it is that time of year...and the orange is yummy. Loved all of your shots, but the one of the baby at the end has to be this granny’s favorite. genie
