A warn evening had us across the river from our city condo to The National Zoo to see this:
The Grandsons where excited,
and wide eyed as can be
to see all the animals glowing animals,
and a few real creatures too.
cuddling gorillas |
the boys LOVE the reptile house every time. Not my favorite. |
All the while having little fun with the glow sticks.
A very fun evening indeed.
My favorite was the falling snow lights |

Joan you really have the best of both worlds in your town/country life, lucky you. Love W's wide eyes
The big eyes shot is a classic :-D.
that's pretty cool. the wide-eyed is too funny!
So pretty! We have an event just like this at our local zoo too, and it is so much fun.
The lights are very pretty and I love the photo of the wide eyed wee fellow, so cute.

What fun! Our grandson loves the reptile exhibit at our local zoo, too. Not exactly my favorite, either.:)
Oh what fun! LOVED this . . .
Beautiful children enjoying the beautiful lights! Great post!
How fun and what cuties you have with you! I don't know that our zoo does Christmas lights, but they have a big "Boo at the Zoo" for Halloween.
Pretty lights. My favorites are the falling snow lights. And the best of all is seeing the light in your grandsons' eyes. xo Jenny
