Granny Day Camp

Helping my mother make her fudge for all of her grands and great grands. All 22 of them collectively.

That would be a lot of fudge.
Then combining our Christmas treasures to decorate our home.
The tree and poinsettias are mine, the angel and Nativity hers.

My MIL helping me make Christmas cookies.

We find it best to keep her mind focused on short repetitive tasks.
She is glad to be useful and I am glad for the help.
Just sad that this moment is already lost to her memory.
But then...
sooc
...a reminder that the sunsets of our lives are beautiful no matter what.

I love seeing you and your mom making up fudge, cookies with MIL, sunsets at the farm, large star, colorful balls in the chandelier, nativity pieces, large red and white candle!
Busy days my friend . . . how do we get it all done! My fudge and baking begins tomorrow . . .
Love . . .

Aren't our mothers wonderful? My mother buys little gifts for all her grandchildren and great grandchildren under the age of 21. Then she makes shortbread for all the adult family members who live nearby. I don't dare tell her not too, she enjoys doing it so much.
It looks like you all enjoyed 'granny camp'. Good on you.
