A break from the Tidal Basin Cherry Blossoms took us to the US National Arboretum, coincidentally home to a pair of Bald Eagles who have recently hatched two eaglets. Have you been watching them live?

We didn't get to venture into the area where the nest is this time, but enjoyed the grounds and the emerging Spring.

The grounds provided a great place to play and explore,

for children of all ages.

The original Columns from the US Capitol Building

We are looking forwad to many return trip in all seasons.
