Handspun and off the long sitting bobbins,
Spun from a fleece brought back from the Winter Wool Workshop last year. |
plied and on the homemade cheapo niddy noddy,
It is my best effort yet, but I will keep working to get a little more consistency in my yarn. |
just completed and hanging out on the fence,
drying after a nice soak and ready for knitting,
and my first homegrown fleeces on the skirting table.
More on that undertaking later.
Somewhere in all that I darned a few socks and swatched for a secret project.
I have just been in fiber heaven all day!

Beautiful blue shawl . . .
Wow! Everything looks great, especially that spotless homegrown fleece. Good job!!!
I love the colour of your shawl. What do you plan for the homespun, are you going to dye it first?
oooh i must learn to spin, it is so amazing!! your shawl is gorgeous, i really like the color and the lace work is superb!!!!
Fibery days are THE best!
Your shawl is stunning! I love seeing the various stages of fleece and yarn and shawl. I have no idea what a niddy noddy is, but it sure is a fun word to ponder (and repeat).
