A Visit to Stoney Lonesome

How good it was to be amongst friends this week as I made a long overdue visit to the CSA farm I had helped at prior landing on my own farm. I've been keeping up with the goings on there, but nothing can replace smelling the air and hugs from persons I miss a bunch.

Pablo's new fields are impressive.

Love all the garlic hanging from the distribution shed.

Thanks gang for being so welcoming!

I love the hanging garlic. That looks like a piece of heaven for a garlic fiend like myself.

Hi there!

I've been poking around your blog, and I must say it is nice to meet you! I also like to knit, and I just completed two pair of fingerless mitts in grey tweed with brown tweed accents... and I gave one away just today to my close friend.

Your profile description moved me. "...for the rest of my life ... aside from knitting". My four kids are not yet completely grown, but what I'll do when they are has already banged around in my head. Good thing we're all in it together, yes?

A warm hug on this Friday evening. Allison
