Sunday Drive

Seemed many had the same thought.

The GPS lady had no say at all this time.

We knew where we were headed.

Up and over the mountain from our home and along Fort Valley Road.

One of the most scenic in Virginia.

Enjoy the tour!

Apple Harvest Shed

I like the evolution of this old home. Can you see where a porch used to be?

Old Rag Mountain. A hiker's paradise. Our farm is on the other side.

That orb would make a great centerpiece in the garden

Much respect for those enjoying the moment without the motor.

All of the photos were taken while cruising. Thank goodness for the super fast automatic shutter setting thingy.

Happily sharing with Barn Charm
Hope you have a wonderful week.

ditto what she said. Some stunning scenery and houses. We were in the garden clearing up but could hear the bikes going past, made me wish we were out.

Thanks for the tour

Very happy you headed out for a Sunday drive and now that you've decided to share these beautiful rural scenes even more appreciative. In working days I used to not mind at all driving to conferences and meetings if I could go through Virginia--it's beautiful even from the interstates in the fall.
