The good:
Helping the boys transplant the snow peas, peppers and cilantro they had started from seeds.
The Bad:
Collecting hugs and kisses enough to sustain a Marme until I see my loves again and heading though the departure gates....
getting my knitting out to await boarding....
then finding out that my would be connecting flight was cancelled.
{and after a period of frantic phone calls, tears, hysteria, etc...}
The Fun:
An extra day of sharing in the very distinct personalities of these two fine boys.
I am home in DC, with lots of happy memories, full of thanks to My Kate and her Kev for letting me share in so much of their lives.
Only 10 1/2 weeks until they move back to our area.

From both blogs, it looks like you guys had the most wonderful time! Can't wait to see what new adventures you all get up to when they move back east!
Happiness all over the place, adorable, happy, energetic, bright grandsons, happy days together, one extra day, back home and happy to hear that soon you will have them living near you. Loved seeing the photo of your older grandson practicing writing his numbers . . .
Oh that was just a sweet taste of what is to come, you are going to have so much fun:) B
It was suppose to be this way...didn't you know? Hugs

how awesome that a travel problem became an extra day with your loves.
and truly how awesome that they'll be close again, soon!
glad you had a great time. Does this mean they are back at the same time we visit?
