Lace

I love it.
In all forms.
But especially in a field and on the needles.

I love the way it starts as a messy heap,

pre-blocking

and then emerges into something so pretty.

Shetland Tea Shawl, Dale Long
from Meg Swanson's  A Gathering of Lace

Sometimes we must be patient and wait for the beauty all things to show itself,

           no matter how unsettled

it seems in the process.

Much Love,
Joan
