The Day Before |
Kind Sweet Leo volunteered to go first.
Hassie was next.
"I am sorry Leo. It is what I brought you here for in the first place. Please don't look at me like that".. |
Ornery Mac was putty in our shearer's hands.
And Big Guy Carnie, who has been a bit of a bully lately, finished it off.
Did you expect that brown sheep to have a silver fleece?
The New Look of my little flock.

Everybody looks great! The brown to gray is always a shocker :-D.
Oh my . . . they are SHEARED!
(Now what . . . do you wash the wool?)
I wonder if they like that feeling - with their wool off? Wonderful pics!
So excited to see the next stages in the process. Have fun
awwwww, shearing already, i have a love/hate relationship with shearing. but they are always cuties!!!!
Love the look on Leo's face! Beautiful colored fleece. I'm not a spinner but I love how the fresh fleeces look.
They are SO CUTE!!!!
I would love to have a baby lamb. My mother had one when she was little and the photos of the two of them together are just THE sweetest thing.
Thanks for sharing --- love your comments!
I wonder if they feel as good after getting sheared as I do after getting my hair cut....I hope so.
Amazing before and afters, in the skilled hands of the shearer. Fiber heaven, indeed!
Looks like you had a very successful shearing day. Everyone looks happy.
