Winter on the Farm

I love the coziness of winter.
We are doing well through it. Fritz staying rested and warm by the fire. I knitting,
reading and listening to books, music and podcasts.

Both of us enjoying time.

Hassie has never grown a good fleece, but she is such a sweetheart.

The sheep prefer to spend most of their time outside, even when it is 4F as it was a or so week ago. They even sleep outside in the barnyard despite a spacious indoor stall with plenty of soft bedding.

I like to let some of the former flowers go to seed to keep the birds happy through the winter,

which can be quite pretty.

Ummm….did you get any to your stomachs there big guy?!

The snow is gone now, but rumor is more over the weekend. Another rumor is that a few grandchildren want to come to play in that snow.
We will be happy to have them.

i am a winter lover too!! i can't imagine living in an area that does not have 4 seasons!!

we have gotten very little snow this winter and what little we had was washed away with yesterday's rain. those hydrangeas are gorgeous, i do the same with mine, they always look so pretty with snow on them!!

my knitting friends have a podcast if you ever want to check it out, "cocktail hour at the coop". leanne taught me to knit, liz taught me to crochet, i love them both and i really think you would enjoy their podcast!!

I love that your photos have the same colour tone. Whilst no snow we have a chilly start. Enjoy those grandchildren this weekend

Really like the sheep photos. The last sheep photo made me laugh. What a sweet face the first photo of sheep had. The two of you sound totally happy, so wonderful. Have fun with the little ones and big ones!!
