Nashville
Home to this Love of mine and his beautiful lady.
Where the men have their fun,
and the women to do.
While the rest of us just enjoy the music, the food, the scenery,
and the graciousness of being welcomed to the home of new friends.
Take care all,
Joan

Lovely Lynne
Mrs. Irish Garden House is a good as they come.
Poised and full of grace.
Kind and warm.
Beautiful inside and out.
Everything you may already know from reading her lovely blog.
How lucky I am to have met up with this dearest of women on her recent swing through the Nations Capital.
We really could have used much more time.
Blogger Buddies are so much fun.

Good Fences
Courtesy of my recent jaunt to the UK.
Magnificent gates.
Solid walls that hold a rich history,
some draped in beautiful plantings.
The Mathematical Bridge,
and a wattling demonstration.
My favorite was this
outside a quaint tearoom where we had a lovely rest.

Hopping Over the Pond
I've been on a little journey.
to Merry old England.
To visit a dear friend.
Who took many more photos than I.
And told the story so well
It was a needed and memorable trip.
Full of exploring the gardens and colleges of Cambridge,
Punting on the river,
With much girl talk and laughter and family getting-to-know-yous,
a festival full of sheep and hounds, clangers and french lemonade, and a bit of fun with the borrowed grandchildren,
A few glasses of wine and some knitting, beautiful walks and antiquing, tea and amazing dinners.

Thank you Sue and Peter and Family.
Thank You.
