A trip to help a friend last week landed me in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. Donna knows me all too well and when she felt well enough for an outing, took me to her friend's tranquil farm for a little barn exploring.
Meet Gus.
I think he wanted to come home with me.
It was a perfect outing for both of us.

Charming Pennsylvannia Barn . . . Loved the final photo showing the stone work and half door.
sweet place! sweet alpaca, too!
Awesome old barn! Love the style, charm, history, and the characters that live in it!
Wow! What an amazing barn! I think Gus should have come home with you! :)
now you could always have alpacas at the farm, ready source of yarn
Gus is such a cutie. what a great farm. love the stone foundation. (:
A beautiful treasure of a barn and so delightful to be able to tour inside!
What a great barn...and I love the alpacas. We have an alpaca farm just down the road from the house. They are really funky animals with minds of their own. I really enjoyed seeing the shots you took inside. Fascinating. genie
Great barn and you got to see the inside. Most of us don't. Cute alpaca. I like the last picture of the door and foundation.
Ahhh, friends with barns. That's a great post.
I sure hope everyone enlarged these...I liked them before but they are just wonderful when enlarged.
Nice barn - I love that stone foundation! Gus is pretty cute too!
Most of us don't get the chance to show the INSIDE of our barns - - - love all that timber work.
That is a BIG barn.
What a beautiful & HUGE barn! 1906! Awesome!
I'm so glad you took shots inside, I love seeing inside these ol barns! Gus is so handsome, what a looker!
Thank your friend, Donna & her friend, for us & thank you for sharing this beauty w/ us at Barn Charm =)
I like the rafter shot. I regret never taking a photo of the rafters in the barn on the farm where I grew up before a tornado destroyed it.
I loved touring this wonderful old barn with you! You must have been thrilled when your friend suggested going and doing a little barn exploring.
Gorgeous barn -- love seeing inside as an added treat. :)
I love a good barn. I hope to have one some day. :-)
