We left western Pennsylvania heading home to Virginia's Shenandoah Valley by way of Maryland and West Virginia.
I on the back of the Harley snapping drive-by photos of barns
and the emerging Autumn scenery.
Fritz arguing with the GPS lady
who wanted us to do this
instead of this.

We are back on the farm safe, but perhaps not so sound in a few folks minds.
1280 miles complete.
I can't wait to do it again.

That can take you many places you do not want to go I hear.
Love the scenery shots this must have been an incredible trip I can see why you want to go again. B
You got some amazing shots from the back of that Harley!
That's a bunch of miles on the back of a motorcycle, but I sure wouldn't mind trying it at least once... what an experience!
Beautiful scenery, for sure, & lovin the barns & fall colors!
I'm also lovin the Happy Barn Charmiversary... I'm just not creative enough to think of something like that! Kudos to you & thanks so much for joining =)

Wow, beautiful views! And the barns are fabulous!
Love your barn photos . . . Love your trip tutorial . . . And you have made traveling 1200 miles on a Harley seem like "the best time" ever!
All the photos are great! I dream of taking a trip on a motorcycle but it will never happen.
did i read this right?? your on the back of a harley....really?? you must be a super fun chick!!
an awesome entry with some beautiful barns!!
Lovely barn collage and spectacular scenery! I take a lot of drive-by shots, but I would think from the back of a Harley it would be a little more challenging, although no windows or posts to get in the way. That GPS lady knows nothing--Fritz was absolutely right! We always choose the backroads if we are given a choice.
Congratulations -- that's not as easy as it sounds. I know from experience.
Gorgeous images -- what a great time of year to make this trip.
Great captures and lovely scenes of fall!
I love all your images, but I love, love the barns!! I can't believe you're able to take such great images from the back of your bike!! Looks like you've been through some beautiful country!!
Gorgeous images!!!
I have a board on Pinterest just for barns. Love the scenery from my home state of SW Pennsylvania! Such fond memories. Have never seen it on the back of a Harley though! Looks like fun!

Love the barns and gorgeous country side. My mother always jokes that the GPS lady is rather bossy.
Sounds perfect to me! Lovely adventure, and you took the right road!
